Some of my neighbors got black flags up and shit and local people have lost their jobs or worse - FDA, NIH, etc.- Plus that February plane crash took local lives too. The food banks got long lines again, first time I saw that was when DT fired everyone in the gov for a month years ago
That's not how authoritarian regimes are overthrown in modern history. And when they are, democracy/peace are rarely restored, or held together for long.

Their boss wasn’t jailed for inciting an insurrection, stealing classified documents, election interference, fraud or raping a woman, and that was under a different president, so I think the chances of any convictions now is very slim.
Yes. Not enough backbone in general to fight to protect democracy and the rule of law. Maybe to complacent thinking it didn’t require active defence. Now the moment is gone. Democracy and the rule of law are being demolished in rapid fashion.
And they can take their time and pretend that they didn't get the notification of the pardon until everyone had gone home for the day. Just REALLY work the karma with this one.

Indeed! Would be nice but the US Marshals enforce it, and they fall under Bondi, so Trump will get away with it all and SCOTUS made sure he will never pay for his official capacity crimes!
