Sorry, no. I read part of the lancet article quoted in NYT. It assumes that deaths are _reduced_ by 2-3% by school closures. But it does so by pointing out that (in March 2020!) no studies exist that show school closures are effective measures in controlling Covid.

The lancet article reasons in March 2020 that it has not been proven that school closures reduce mortality.
It reasons with SARS, which had been contained quickly, and with other viral diseases, but there we've got immunity against. So my main point against him is that he quoted this article.
