What is the difference between these maps and what is going on in Gaza today? Already, Trump and Israel is saying they want to remove all the Palestinians from Gaza. Does anyone believe they will be allowed to return? How could Israel do to the Palestinians what the Germans did to Jews in WWII?

But this does not show the origin of all Jews killed during the Holocaust. Just those killed in Auschwitz, more accurately Auschwitz II aka Birkenau. It does not show the origin of Jews killed in other killing centers. I also think it's wrong about Hungary. Most of the Hungarian Jews were killed

within about 54 days from the takeover of the Hungarian government. And I think it's not really accurate to say that Germany invaded. German advisors were already in Budapest and they staged a coup I believe.

This map itself suggests that only about 10% of those polish Jews who were killed in the Holocaust were killed in Birkenau / Auschwitz II.

Also, killing centers were different from concentration camps.

Timothy Snyder makes a strong argument not to call these five or so killing centers "concentration camps". He says a camp is a place where people spend the night, but these killing centers were designed for people to be killed within hours of arriving. His book Bloodlands is highly recommended.
