Coincidentally, those same countries will be increasing spending on their own defense. They'll also have to cut foreign aid. It's likely their deficits will increase and they'll have to scale back on healthcare spending.
Trump only see costs in global security without imagining the costs of the global insecurity or those to have stronger competitors on the international stage that could follow his actions : this "burden", in the future, could reveal itself, by its absence, to have been, in fact, an invaluable asset.
Still 32% in Germany! My bubble is like 3%. We‘re like: please please do something against that destructive madness. It‘s not the time for us citizens to go on vacation in Europe, with so much to do to Make America Good again. Unless you wish to stay permanently, to become EU citizen, of course.
Welp, looks like more staycations and domestic holidays for the next 4 years, and with the coming economic changes here in the USA, my wallet may also agree.
