Hopefully they up production, but yeah demand has been crazy. I’d say any X3D chip will be an upgrade from what you’re using but might as well wait for the 9800 if you’re going AM5.

the X3D chips are so nice, the L3 cache helps so much. I went 7800 when I rebuilt mine a year or so ago, but I'm also on a 3060ti so I too need a new card

Can be used for anything but I picked the processor specifically because it’s really well suited for VR, which is super demanding. It’ll be great for any sort of gaming.
