Legal counsel representing federal employees is now being targeted by the Trump administration. Law firms are receiving a clear message that retaliation is possible for those advocating on behalf of individuals or groups opposing the administration’s agenda.

In the before times, with an administration that otherwise acted lawfully and behaved with decency whether I agreed with them or not, I’d have said “He can’t legally do this and he won’t get away with it,” knowing that would have been reality.

Oh how I long for a return to reality.

I'm not sure how I have the capacity to be shocked by much anymore, but not having MAGA family or friends, a lot of these scenarios involving them, are completely appalling to me.
Finding community elsewhere needs to be top priority. I hate to think of these folks over on Xitter, too! 😔

It doesn't matter what they are threatened with. My entire family has discussed this, not because of this particular situation. We have all said if our lives are threatened, if another family member did not turn against America in anyway, we would rather die. Treason is not an option.
