Spotify just reported record-breaking profits.
In totally unrelated news, Spotify stopped paying nearly 90% of artists on the service ANYTHING (no royalties for songs w <1k streams/year)

If you must have a service, YouTube Music is the old Songza guys, and it's a good service, apart from the terrible audio quality.
Qobuz and Amazon offer a decent catalog with excellent quality, and Qobuz's store is nice.
I will forever lament the loss of the microSD card slot
Anyway, podcasts are an open standard, there are many apps you can use to listen to them. Apple Podcasts is a good default choice.
I also personally really like Pocketcasts, though they were acquired and I have a bunch of legacy features so your experience may vary https://pocketcasts.com/
I’m holding my breath
Bandcamp is a great place to support artists directly and even tip by paying more. For everything else, iTunes has a massive selection with very high quality downloads.
