I want to learn sign language, including gay and bdsm slang and specific phrases, as my husband is slowly going deaf, and one of my pups and I are mostly deaf in one ear. Do you know of any community resources, or is immersion the best way to learn after learning the basics?
I tried searching for everything. I think it's easier to find Deaf YouTubers or use ASL websites. You could also go to a Deaf event near your home. I believe that would help you a lot.
Hi! I am learning ASL and while I feel I don’t have a say in how a sign is formed, I am so excited to learn how this evolves and grows! It feels like such an appropriate sign! c: I am such an advocate for ASL in kink communities and we need more of it!
I could genuinely watch sign language all day. That's super insightful to see how phrases are coined over the years. Was interesting to see even proper nouns ("Google") had its own sign
Its really fun, i spent quite a while learning British sign language which is a lot different from ASL- and would highly recommend learning some basic phrases, you'll never know!
Me and my partner have conversations in secret for hatching plans and stuff. :p
Thank you so much! I'll finish setting up my art studio room for a comic. Need few weeks...
Tomorrow, I'll think about posting more videos about common words and terms from BDSM/pup community.
I make sure next video is high-quality and well-edited! 🤟😊
This is super cool and adorable! Thank you for sharing your innovation!
I know there are ASL interpreters at community events like the International Puppy and Trainer Contest (IPTC), IML and MIR, so I’m curious whether they have come up with a sign for #PupPlay / #PuppyPlay …?
You're welcome! I’m not sure if Deaf pups still use special signs like I do. Most ASL interpreters focus on standard signs, but Drag interpreters have unique ones. Black American Sign Language exists for Black culture. Special signs in ASL can emerge and become popular in history.

I'm not into pup play and neither am I able to speak/use ASL but I'm all for this!
It looks perfect!
You’re such a good puppy! 🌸
