@martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com Why don't HMRC reset your tax code once you make a full P800 payment for tax owed on interest on savings over the £1K personal allowance? They're estimating you will earn the same in the next tax year and charging in advance. It's wrong of HMRC to do this.
