All day I hear liberal/socialist/alternative Bay Area CA friends condemn Nazis and related behavior, express hatred, warn of danger, remind us of history.

I’ve not heard any of my conservative/republican friends or family say anything at all. They even give excuses.

Silence is complicity.

Fortunately I live in a town safe for this. You can organize on social media, connect with like-minded people. Maybe a nearby town if necessary. Mine has a huge percentage who will take any opportunity to march, protest or have a walk-out. So proud. Already had a Woman’s March just before MLK Day.

A family member related to 1 grandfather (3 war veteran: WWII, Vietnam, Korea) was initially thought to be on that flagpole. Other grandpa was in the navy during d day but wasn’t a part of the invasion. Nazi fighting heros.

My father served in WWII also. Graduated from college and spent the next three years in the Army landing at Normandy day 6 and then fighting across Europe to defeat the Nazis . President Bone Spurs is a disgrace . Impeach him and send his Nazi buddy back to South Africa.

Exactly! People need to remember how our grandparents fought a horrible frightening war against fkg nazis, sacrificing their lives to keep all of safer by giving their life, and then this country elects a nazi loving president. More than shameful, its a total betrayal.
