How is the software support for you? - I have someone I know who still uses WinXP, and uses some browser (forgot the name) to use Discord’s web client. Steam is, of course, well out of date of supporting WinXP but is their any software you still use on that Laptop?
mypal as a browser for internet, discordmessenger for discord (both on github), and pre-Steam era games and software goes a long way. technically you CAN get steam to run still but its hacky and downloads dont work, but theoretically you can just download on a modern pc and transfer
like there's really nothing -practical- about running XP in 2024, you absolutely should not use it as your main OS for anything beyond goofing around (and definetely dont do secure shit like banking). it's 100% vibes based more than anything.
