Watching the food chain at work is fascinating. There’s a flock of very stupid pigeons that nest in the indoor ring at my stable. There’s also a very smart hawk that has realized the indoor ring is an all-you-can-eat pigeon buffet.

Red tails are my favorite. One afternoon we saw one down the street having a lunch of a neighborhood bunny. Not the prettiest sight, but that's how it goes 😄
