The non-profit Friends of the Library group in my county operates several used books stores. All proceeds benefit the library system. The selection is incredible! Feel free to shop at places like that today!

Many Friends of the Library will have a once a year sale, too. And the Newbury Park Library in Thousand Oaks, California is sending children’s books to teachers affected by the LA fires.
I love my library and the bookstore. If I can’t get what I want there or by ordering from another library, I buy new from local bookstores or used online book platforms. 📚
Okay, slightly jealous at the thought of entire used book stores! I run my Library's used book sales...3 times a year, in a large meeting room. Oh, to have a permanent sales home!
