I had no idea that Apple removed the earphone jacks on their phones forcing consumers to by AirPods. Wow they contribute to a mass amount of waste. Consumer waste equals profit for businesses.

That was four or five years ago. Haha. Still using an iPhone 6? π€ Apple does sell a dongle for $30 to plug your wired earphones in. But also depends if you are on a USB C or a lightning port on the phone. Apple sure knows how to sell accessories. π€£ π
Here is the point. WASTE! I do have an old phone and Iβm proud I donβt just buy stuff to buy it. It disgusting that companies force people to have to buy new STUFF just to make money. The amount going to landfills when itβs not necessary. I have an SE.
I know you do. Making a joke. SE was based on the 6. That's the world we live in, and I also agree. I just replaced my cell phone after 4-5 years. Needed a bigger screen and better battery life. I'm using a 8 year old laptop and 11 year old PC. They work just fine. No need to replace
Think of how many times they changed their charging cords and plug ins . I am happy all companies have to use the same . Samsung 5 was awesome with a sim card slot and water proof. Phones should be made to last longer.
They also removed the earphone jack on iMacs, and now one has to get a special USB for that purpose. I can't wear AirPods. They fall out. The consumer is secondary to profit, apparently.
