The RW reactionary pushback is essentially that a free market democracy will very gradually trend toward tolerance, inclusion and diversity. So they are trying to dismantle the foundations.

I just have such a hard time with this worldview. I don’t understand how certain viewpoints think cruelty and repression is a good thing. It doesn’t compute.
