Yes, if "to work" means: To change the behavior of an individual business or industry.
BUT
"To work" here means: To register whole-of-society rage, jumpstart activism, & engage new folks.
In which case: It works.
If my boomer aunt spends 1 day on a fairly easily achievable boycott, maybe tomorrow she'll do something a little more.
• Is it needed (can it be borrowed/made)
• What store will I choose to get it from (they get my $$)
• We CAN make a difference.
• I HOPE folks will continue this!
