I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THIS IN THE GUIDE: sometimes printers will require you to outline your fonts so they dont have to actually have the font on hand. this lessens the risk of text being wonky incase they have to edit the file. you as essentially converting text to image data 4/4

Not a zine designer (graphic design is NOT my passion) but these tips are very helpful as a fic writer who would eventually like to print some of my writing into a book just as a fun keepsake! Or as a zine mod who wants to be able to spot improvement points in a proposed layout.

yes!!! printing out physical versions of your fics is v cool, i wish more writers did it for fun! saddlestitch books are way cheaper + easier to format
