And a new lesson to be learned. In 1930s Germany, news didn’t travel as fast, and the Jews weren’t all carrying fire arms. This time it’s going to be a new ball game.
That as much as we need to fight Trump right now we also need to start litigating state by state to protect our right to vote and making our vote count. So that when the midyear elections happen.
We can take back the house and the Senate
Because as of right now, I don’t trust our elections
Exactly why the Orange Turd told his people that they would never have to vote again. Translation, you’ll never be able to vote again, because he’ll appoint himself dictator for life.
It's good to note: The Nazis never "woke up" and realized they were doing terrible things. They only stopped after their cities burned to the ground, and soldiers rampaged through their cities. Even in defeat, the Germans had to make Nazi worship ILLEGAL to stop them from starting right up again.
Fascism is not sustained by force alone—it is desired. As Wilhelm Reich asked, “How could the masses be made to desire their own repression?” Deleuze and Guattari take this further: “The masses were not innocent dupes; at a certain point, under a certain set of conditions, they wanted fascism.”
Trump and his cohorts will declare Martial Law so they can stay in power for as long as they want. Trump said, you'll never have to vote again if I win.
Fascism doesn’t just take over the system; it metastasizes within it, using existing institutions to consolidate power until resistance seems impossible. The illusion of normalcy—trusting the system to self-correct—is what allows it to fully entrench itself.
I’m sorry but, didn’t Germany have an attempt at a leftist revolution throughout the late 1910s that the facists fought against and won? Like a lot of the people who “didn’t bother” to vote, probably feared to vote, or were killed off in the first place. The lesson comes from before the 1930s, no?
Like the part where the establishment parties failed the people so much and did so little to help them, they became apathetic. So, the far right became powerful enough to win? Yeah, our government will not learn this lesson.
In 1930 ( Severe Depression) Nazi candidates got 44% of the vote. In 1932 Nazi candidates got 36% of votes, a minority in the Bundestag. Their influence was waning. The Reichstag fire gave the Industrialists and the Conservatives the chance they needed to set up Hitler in power.
Sounds like Musk
True, but the lesson goes deeper: Hitler wasn’t just elected—power was handed to him by elites, while institutions failed to resist. Non-voters matter, but so does recognizing how fascism co-opts systems to destroy democracy from within. The fight is now.
This is why I don't blame anyone for running from all this especially if they're POC. I'd love to hear people say that the German Jews should have 'stayed to fix their own country' instead of running. Americans are making the same bad choices that the Germans made in their apathy.
All of us non-whites are on the fast track to a one way ticket to a concentration camp regardless of citizenship or if we have done anything wrong or not.
And it's scary in a different way because we're now in a more precarious situation with nuclear weapons, major espionage, connected monetary systems, and all things digitally controlled. ANYTHING can be hacked for nefarious purposes.
Too many dumb mother fuckers completely failed to pay attention in school and now we have fucking Nazis again. Fuck the ignorant cunts who did this too us. Trump voters and “nonpartisan” non voting hacks can all drown in luke warm diarrhea for all I care.
I can only encourage anyone to get as detailed information as possible on how that happened back then. I'm sure it's chronicled somewhere in English, too. There are so many lessons in that. And so many mistakes being repeated.

Be prepared and be Warned.
The fastest the 🍊🤡 is liquidated the safer humanity will be.
I don’t think normal American elections are in our foreseeable future.
I hope I’m wrong, but something is kind of off.
Said you may never have to vote again.
won’t take himself out
Good stuff.
Check out my feed for much more useful stuff!
Please but it to good use. There is a critical lack of awareness, about the nature of fascism.
Think horizontal! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm asking for a friend
'Vote for me and you won't have to vote any more'

Later that year, the Nazis won the majority of seats in the Reichstag. In 1933, President Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor.

Not 1945
And a huge number of Germans had died in the interim between the "prior" election.

You would reach more people, when you add a good description into the Alt-text field.
That is pretty easy, especially, when your image just contain text.
This way, you support visually impaired people and everyone else, who rely on a good filled Alt-text.

There are far more productive ways to participate that can actually prevent a fascist takeover
