The Nintendo DS is a fantastic console even today. I am biased because I grew up on it, but it has an amazing catalog of games. I still go back to it once in a while to play something new I find on it.

Maybe, I would say it depends on what DS games you're playing...?
Personally I get "Open World"d and "FPS"d out after a while.
