If you make something weird, we’re here to help you. Comics, games, illustration, books, stories, poems, translations, podcasts, and so much more. We absolutely believe that good art does not require sacrifices from its creators, and a lot of our work is on helping people create sustainable careers.

We run an interdisciplinary virtual convention, Flights of Foundry. It's fabulous! Programming runs around the clock so we're not privileging one timezone / part of the world over others, and it is free to attend (though donations are always welcome). The next convention will be Sept 27-29 2024!

We also run contests for emerging artists and writers. These have no fee to enter (and never will), require no work on spec, are judged by current industry professionals, and offer significant cash prizes. We are always delighted to lift up new creators!

One of our coolest programs is Con or Bust, which gives cash grants to fans and creatives of color to get them to conventions, workshops, and other professional opportunities. Right now, Con or Bust has a dedicated fund for sending Palestinians to WorldCon!

Dream Foundry also runs a seminar program! We invite professionals from all over the industry to teach about their areas of expertise - we've had seminars on writing, business, editing, comics, and many more. And they are all free to attend.
