Despite being the most common chronic condition there has been underfunding & fragmentation of services for allergy & asthma for decades. This is starkly reflected in data showing emergency hospitalisations for breathing issues- we need to support diagnosis and management to avoid this happening π§ͺ

My experience of primary care in the UK over the last decade is that GPs (I certainly hope others' experience varies) either write scrips or write referrals, and are supremely disinterested in doing much else.
This may be why the PA scam has been deemed possible/plausible.

Cleaning outdoor & indoor air, education for businesses & people alike might have greater impact.
The effects of that lack of investment were evident almost immediately. And itβs worse now.
