If you use FB , there are a couple of buy/sell groups for spinning wheels, etc. Check to see if you have a fiber guild in your area...there's probably a member who has one to sell. Also check with a LYS-- ask them to put out the word that you're looking for one. - ThreadSky

If you're open to an e-spinner, the Electric Eel Wheel is relatively more affordable. I started with the EEW Nano, at about $100. Then, when I had the money, I got the EEW 6.

I believe there's currently a Kickstarter for the newest model, a folding e-spinner, the EEW Fold. You might have to Google the Kickstarter, as it might nit be on the Dreaming Robots website (parent company of EEW).

I agree about finding a spinning group in your area. Many times people are up-grading & have older stuff to sell. Look on internet for local spinning groups. Also ask around at yarn shops. Some spinning groups are connected to local yarn stores. Even weaving guilds can have connections to spinners.
