I saw a lot of people talking about the 4.2.7 boards and the one you linked is about the same price. I love my E3 Max so I’m down to use this time to upgrade it

Regardless, looks like new board in store for you. You may be able to download firmwear for your board on github. Already compiled. Let me know which board going with and if you have ABL and or fila runout. I see if I can locate firmwear there

I would think the Ender 3 max uses same 4.2.2 board. My Ender 3 Pro, it was a direct drop in on a 8 bit. I think 4.1.1. Yes, creality and BTT DIFFERENT COMPANIES

Noooo that sucks! The 4.2.7 board is really nice though - I had no idea it could make my Ender 3 so much quieter. I did the same upgrade myself after my printer tore itself (and all the upgrades I'd printed for it) apart. Really sucks to get sent all the way back to square 1 though!
