I very much agree, although I've also been thinking there's been really surprisingly little conversation about their current #1 goalie being (intentionally?) injured and missing the whole series basically. Game 3 could have looked real different, and then everything is different.

That era was just some of the worst hockey ever played. Devils would just stack five guys in the neutral zone and grab the jersey if anybody tried to get by.

Lou Lamoriello should've been given a life sentence for murdering hockey.
