Seems stereotypes of "the Grim", black dogs used in media as "attack dogs," they "look scary," etc. Here's another

I’ve never understood that, either. Two of my cats were black, and I think black dogs and cats are so classy looking! Wish I were able to adopt right now but can’t sue to family allergies.

Mine was long haired - beautiful girl- i actually asked for a black one and she was the only black one in her litter- a little runt but elegant- lived to be 16

Wonderful she lived so long and loved. Sadly, I grew up in a tiny farming town where letting cats outside to roam was normal. I’d never do that again. With bird flu now, I’d also never want my pets to roam. At best I’d install a catio.

A stray black cat walked into our yard and never left. He was the sweetest cat. We adopted a second one from a farmer when the first was hit by a car. My last was a grey cat that I brought home from college (parents had said no) and he ended up adopting my dad. Could’ve cared less about me. 😂😂😂
