If you are in the southwestern USA, the Western Association of Vertebrate Paleontologists conference is (mostly) Feb. 15, w/abstracts due Friday (Jan. 31). It is a WONDERFUL meeting w/a nice cross-section of folks. https://www.wavp.us/wavp-2025/

I love it because you get museum people, mitigation paleo, students, university types, and everything in between. There is always a cool cross-section of science, from fish to oreodonts and everything in between. I always learn a ton, and meet many new people.
I just submitted an abstract from my research crew, about the "Quick Pocket" locality in the "Mesaverde" Formation of Wyoming. It's our first quantitative research results from this project (begun in 2019), & we're getting cool paleoecology & biogeography signals.
