Nothing new. Once upon a time it was known as the Chivalric Code. Knights, who would otherwise be nothing more than murderous thugs, built their status upon it. Decency, so long as you don't get too pious about it, is cool and not at odds with masculinity at all.
the ones whining about masculinity were NEVER masculine in the first place.. just a bunch of whiny little bitch microphallus chumps suffering from way too much cameltoe, and many with cosplay costumes their mommy washes and irons for them
Alot of ill educated whites in USA are threatened by diversity, kindness and intelligence. They lash out with bullying, hate, guns to boost their pathologic erotic needs. It's really gross, sick stuff.
They're being told to be fathers, but don't understand or indoctrine the basic principles of love and family... From trump and musk, who give no shits for their own kids.
The fact we had Doug Emhoff and Tim Walz figure so prominently in this election proves this. These were two men totally comfortable with equality and it made them manly.
Masculinity has long been tied to strength, but true strength isn’t about power or dominance. It’s about using that strength to protect, uplift, and create space for the most vulnerable. Real masculinity is rooted in care, responsibility, and the courage to stand up for what’s right.
You’re absolutely right. These qualities aren’t exclusive to men. They’re human virtues that we should all aspire to. My point was to challenge the narrow definitions of masculinity and highlight how these traits can reshape how we think about strength and responsibility.
respectfully ,if you think true masculinity was EVER defined as abusing women or being a bigot or racist , you're getting your definitions from the wrong sources - bullying and racism doesn't have a gender
The more people we leave behind, the more resistance there will be in implementing this very nuanced definition of masculinity. I understand that we're not obligated to help these people. But what does it say about us if we simply leave them in a pit that was dug for them?
I long for the days when "boys will be boys" meant being messy and playing rough-and-tumble, not being abusive and rapey little psychopaths. But then that probably wouldn't be very "masculine" for certain folks.
Strong cannot complain about weak, & wise cannot complain about stupid. The former becomes so -- and humble -- by carrying the latter on broad shoulders. Reluctant warriors Willy & Joe were real men. The so-called "Alphas" today could not carry the corn in their shit.
I love this so much! I most especially love real ass men on the right side of history who support women, stand up for what’s right and call out everything that’s wrong! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank You! 🙏
You don't have to flaunt and brag about masculinity to be a man. That's maga alpha male type shit. Being understanding and SUPPORTIVE of women or anyone of a different sexual orientation in no way diminishes your own masculinity. Be secure in yourself, and you understand others better. 💯
If parent(s) of sons would raise them to respect girls/women,
parents if daughters would not have to worry🤔😘
I had 2 sons and this was my mantra to them,
be a better man.

Real men take care of things... they do not belittle things.
I would imagine/hope this isn't exclusive to men.
(And neither do kindness and generosity.)
