Växjö, Sweden in 1985, there’s two statues, one made in 2015 is in the garden of Hotelier Lasse Diding's Villa Wäring in Varberg (because Växjö wouldn’t display it for fears of it inciting violence, which is all sorts of ironic)and a more recent second one in the town of Alingsås about 3 hours away.

Remarkable : didn't know the story at all. Statue is a great touch. Just as an aside, I'm not in favour of pulling any statues down but very much in favour of accompanying plaques at foot of those statues detailing the good AND the bad.
