As we all know, massive tax increases (between the tariffs amounting to SuperVATs and income tax hikes for everyone not making $340K/year) are wildly popular. Combine that with slashing the federal workforce, dropping tax revenue and stalling the economy, I’m sure everyone will be delighted. /s
