It explains a lot.

I blame evolution.

Then I get into blaming a palette of exploitable traits that prevent us from understanding, stepping up, developing resistance mind, reasoning our collective way to effective strategy, resolve, organisation and mass mobilisation.

I see you have a lot of flags on your profile - sounds like a soup 😹 Just like me. Dutch - in the first settlement in New Amsterdam; French Huguenots escaping to the Netherlands then America; German Palatines; English Pilgrims.

Everyone settled in America. Mostly Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I’m the Revolutionary War some of the fam fought for the US (mostly the English ones, they were used to eliminating Kings 😹) and some were Loyalists and were relocated go current Canada.

The flags are a headscratcher.

On my mom's side it's pretty much wall to wall Highland and Isles except for a great gran who was English; Ontario French Canadian and Anglo by way of the USA on my Dad's.

Any kind of soup I came from had to include split peas, leeks, and neeps.
