My concern about a new Continental Congress is that it will also include the same people who brought us Project 2025 and voted for Trump and we could end up even worse. 😱😰😬🤯

The agenda of a #CitizensCongress is limited in scope and will only address getting $ out of politics, ensuring election integrity & making ethics rules that eliminate corruption. Project 2025 fools would care to take part in such an effort.

I still think it’s “iffy” that this country at this time would assure election integrity, election financing reform, and anti-corruption rules given who is currently in office and the number of voters who STILL support him after the devastation we’ve witnessed. Along as we still have the vote, the plan will work. If elections are cancelled the it won't work. The inhabitants of the White House and Congress are inconsequential.

GOP is doing everything they can to disenfranchise people and it will continue to get worse. Alabama just announced they are ignoring the Supreme Court ruling that they had to follow the Voting Rights Act. They know w/ Trump in power, they are safe to ignore VRA & disenfranchise Black voters.

Disenfranchisement won't stop the remedy. A #CitizensCongress will have vast support among the electorate. As long as there's an election the remedy will remove anyone opposed to the remedy. Democrats are so guilty of voter suppression but they tend to employ it against the progressive wing.
