There are, of course, other "Patton" books, some of which I have, but the authors I gave you are easily the top two at the moment. The conspiracy theory about his death is just that, a theory.

The second is Kevin Hymel's trilogy, "Patton's War."
Vol. 2 (pictured) won the prestigious Army Historical Foundation Distinguished Writing Award for Biography 2023. AHF is associated with the National Museum of the US Army. (I do not know the current status of Vol. 3.)

For a start, I recommend two important works. The first is "The Patton Papers" edited and annotated by the renowned historian Martin Blumenson. 2 Vols. Check out Blumenson's bio on Wikipedia.
