That piece is an excellent reminder that for all their tough talk, Trump & the GOP treat our military, our veterans, and their families with active, unconcealed disdain & contempt. They want the military to be a cudgel they can swing at their enemies, foreign or domestic -- nothing more.

They get aroused by the military as a *concept*, because they think shooting things & blowing things up makes them look tough. But they don't care about the actual *people* whose lives are affected by their reckless & destructive policies.
