He ran in 2020, but the Democratic Party, i.e. their voters in the primaries, wanted Biden instead. That was as weird to me (🇩🇪) as Trump being re-elected.
Biden ran 2 or 3 times before he finally got the nomination.
Having run before (& lost) isn’t necessarily a negative. In fact, it could be a learning experience that helps make a better candidate the next time around.
Biden was my choice for the nominee in 2020 but only because I thought he would appeal to some Republicans over trump. And some undecided, those attention seekers that they are. I just wanted whoever would be that son of a bitch
