Alt text that describes pictures, lets them enjoy the same things we all do in some fashion.
This inclusivity is the most important part, but not the only one!

Images would get around that block and some people would either leave or block the person that keeps irritating them. Alt text can filter these words out, so everyone can do their thing.

Your band is playing a show? Put the place, the date and anything else relevant in the alt text when you share a poster!
