It's very cool to see multiple languages, and I love that we have tools that let me translate the posts.

One funny bit - I speak mostly passable Spanish, and every time I see a Portuguese post that part of my brain tries to engage and then jumps its tracks once it realizes it ain't Spanish.

Most of my feed is filled with posts in Portuguese, it’s nice to see they’ve found their footing again after Twitter was banned. It’s also kinda strange because most of the posts I see are people looking for mutuals, trying to reconnect.

Yeah some boomers and artists are setting up there but the user base there heavily dislikes twitter users (and now bluesky users) so I think the younger generation is going to feel more comfortable here

They should have a single button for translation like Twitter instead of needing to click 2 buttons it would make it easier. Either that or automatically translate it for you!

Yes a setting is what I want. Obviously people that can read the language would want to read the original. And having a *this post is translated* indicator would be necessary.
