A huge part of why Black Twitter didnt come here was b/c of this site's white shitlib perception. All credit to @desertlorenzo.bsky.social for pointing this out but it unapologetically says that they haven't learned anything since. Considering their talk around monetizing this is worth pointing out.

Note the similarities in all these articles to what trans folks have also been saying. Is there a space for us? Why is no one speaking out? Does anyone see us? Does anyone have our backs? And then the ones that do go ham on it are either run off, dismissed wholesale or harassed. Again - same tactic
People outside of here see it and notice it. BlueSky's antiblackness non-action mattered the same way the trans hate non-action matters the same way the Anti-Palestinian mutual aid bans matter.

It's cheaper and less effort to do bad than good, if there's no monetary gain, they'll look the other way.
Might have to reconsider Mastodon or PixelFed at this point. I frankly have no qualms starting anew at those sites.
