Give similar updates in the State of the Union?
State which of the actions Trump is taking is illegal, and what has been started/completed to counteract?

The problem is that the GOP controls all branches of government and the DOJ. Actions bein taken by dems are reactionary (lawsuits brought by state attorneys general) because the dems can't prevent anything legally

While I understand your sentiment, I think it’s a little defeatist. The GOP holds a majority. There are GOP members who can be convinced to vote independently from their party.
Dems can initiate or direct lawsuits to stop illegal actions.
We can’t just give up because it looks difficult.

You said that you haven't been involved in politics long and it shows, to be honest. I literally mentioned the lawsuits myself. That does not PREVENT the actions. They also cannot force the GOP members to vote independently. They are trying. Please learn civics

I am aware that lawsuits are initiated in reaction to someone breaking the law. I also know that water is wet, FTR.
For those people who do not fully understand what is happening, your statement encourages them to have despair and do nothing.
We need to combat that, as well.

We need to protest in every big city all over the country, but we need national leadership that could be organized by Democratic leaders. Is the only infrastructure we have there are millions of us who don’t know what to do and how to do. Colorful signs and costumes get the attention of the press.

We did get a list of accomplishments here, but its so padded with fluff that it reduced my confidence in them. Im sure there is a solid top 10 here but “filing a lawsuit” reads the same to me as ‘starting an essay’, not exactly a reassuring accomplishment.
