That's because (IMO) web3 and decentralization is truer to the original intent than what these technocrats want. Maybe we had to move through that first to realize it? I've been around long enough to have seen this go through the ed system, they tried to integrate it into the curriculum. /1

But they didn't like it because that wasn't 'the point', to educate. Thru didn't want independent critical thinkers, they wanted good industrial employees. Not creatives. There's been a definite split in what the people wanted/thought vs what the owners/capitalists did, and that's become VERY clear.

True. That mindset was the dominant one in corporations and private education even before the web became popular in the nineties. I could see it here in 🇲🇽.

I've read about that and I agree. Projects like Ubu should not be the exception on an internet controlled by a handful of corporations.
