Think he got enough screen time. He had two entire sections, the first one being short, the second being relatively medium in length. He was killed very quickly sure but he was also a minor villain? Like he was not set up to be the major villain he was always advertised to be a smaller character.

And so I don’t really think there’s an issue with him not getting more time. Now the glitch on day 1 which made him not spawn for his entire second half did severely harm this but that’s been patched now. Now I saw a few people saying Doey’s death was pointless which I wholeheartedly disagree.

Throughout the story you can never be certain whether to trust poppy. She’s betrays your trust once or twice and you are told by other characters explicitly not to trust her, yet so far she’s only been helpful and has an admirable and noble goal in mind. Having Doey turn on you forcing you to kill him tragically, really puts into perspective those warnings. It’s the first real negative consequence of trusting poppy (a a BIG consequence at that) and helps to truly show how unreliable she is to have on your side, only to be confirmed by her running

Away at the end of the chapter. Writing wise this chapter is incredibly good and I don’t think is a thing people should complain about. The chapter very clearly suffered from poor game design making encounters less scary and more irritating. I don’t get why people aren’t talking about that more?
