On International Mountain Day, one of my favorites. Cotopaxi is an active stratovolcano in Ecuador reaching a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft). The crater itself is 800 m × 550 m (2,620 ft × 1,800 ft) wide. In the distance, poking through the clouds is Chimborazo.
