Oh hey my parentsake this stuff every thanksgiving. At least i think we use mashed potatoes. Even still it looks similar.and no i never ear it it doesnt look all too appetizing.
Candied yams! They're very good, the potatoes are lightly sweet already so adding marshmallows to the top accentuates it. I'd suggest giving them at least a try sometime, they're a very common Thanksgiving dish
With mashed potatoes? No, that's madness. With sweet potatoes? Yeah, kinda, it's a thing some people do. I can't get on board with yams in the first place so I can't vouch for it nor condemn it.
