What they do is block the artist, take their name and reply to people in your place and move the discussion on discord then fake sell you the adopt and disappear, taking then another name

ALWAYS make sure to double check usernames, profiles, that they are not too new or have suspicious activities

I got suspicious because I kept seeing a "1" next to the comments icon but I couldn't see an actual reply, didn't get any notification either.
I dismissed it as a bug at first but no... the scammer most likely blocked me just before leaving a comment

I use only one account for the whole transaction, either bluesky or on twitter, I will continue the conversation on the platform you contacted me with. I don't use discord or other socials for commissions. Emails only if given through forms

Hmm... When someone comments and immediately blocks, nobody that opens your post should see their comment.
BlueSky hides all interactions between blocked accounts, no matter who blocked who.

Yeah, if they reply to someone, that person will see the reply, but if they open the reply, they won't see the original post. It will say something like "post from a blocked account"

If the person then opens the original post, they won't see the reply.

Art scammers are the lowest form of human garbage. They literally provide no goods or services, they lie, impersonate, steal, and spread misery. If you want money, literally just do or make something. These people are bottom feeding parasites.

I lost my twitter account yesterday and the scammer is using it to scam other artists. I did everything I can, but now I'm just sitting and waiting for support to make some moves.
