Bad news indeed. But highly skilled foreign doctors choosing not to move to the US because of Trump's policies, etc. isn't the biggest adverse effect of same. The vastly larger numbers of talented students who were planning to pursue careers in medicine or science, but may now no longer be able 1/3

3/3 student loan funding and xenophobic immigration policies are certainly going to reduce the pool of talented young people desiring careers in medicine or science who can attend our universities to begin the process.
Trump's policies are thus anti-medicine and science as they reduce US expertise
