He’s terrified of Reform. That’s the problem. If we failed again in a referendum, I doubt we’d ever see a Labour government again. And even worse, Farage as Prime Minister.
Sadly it isn't his decision.
It needs the unanimous agreement of all the governments of the EU27. They will never do this whilst there is a chance that there will be a Farage led government to take us back out again.
It will happen, but not for a generation or more. Not until everyone who had anything to do with leaving is long down the road. If he said we want to rejoin, people will moan that he’s useless if it’s not done and dusted by Christmas.
Hang in there! We've all been there when things feel overwhelming. Just take it one step at a time, and remember to take care of yourself along the way. You've got this!
There's every reason. We behaved like arseholes. We still haven't implemented all the new trading and border rules in the EU deal. We cannot just waltz back in because we think entitled to whatever we want.
The way I see it is it’s been a failed experiment. No other European country has followed in our footsteps because it’s been so bad. If anything, it’s strengthened the European Union, us asking to come back will strengthen it even more.
I agree 100% but they won't let us rejoin until both leader political parties want it other wise we could just leave again as soon as there's change of government. So we need to make the Lib Dems the opposition 😆
Sure but it will still take a long time to negotiate. I'd love there to be an easy solution but we have to be realistic and not promise sunny EU uplands.
Because he bought into the crap that Liz Truss implemented, by paying Corporations to run Great Britain. It wasn't debated in Parliament, there was no referendum. It is linked to mini-budget and Project 2025. Charter Cities and Freeports. Add European Powell.

Whatever he wants is meaningless
The EU decide, not him and Britain isn't stable enough for the EU to waste time on.
As a start, let's get Britain in step with the EU to show that we're serious.
Hang on, isn't he doing just that🤔
