The more you understand that when you walk into a grocery store everyone becomes your enemy the more effective shopper you will become

I read this as "they should invent a Trader Joe's where everyone's not fucking," they'll never beat the rumors

In fairness, this problem would be alleviated at least slightly if they didn’t change the damn store layout every time we step foot in there.

While they're at it they should make a costco where I'm not in everyone's way because I stop for every sample.
