Pains me to say it, but probably. If I were mocking you for a brain worm it would be easier to call it ableism. YMMV. It's not as clearcut as deadnaming Caitlyn Jenner (bad, obvs).
To me, ableism is discriminating against someone for a disability/injury they had no control over, so usually I would say yes, but dude ate a carcass that belonged to a dog so I feel like that's... kind of on the basic "do not do this unless you want brainworms" list
As I understand it, we only know about his brain worm because he was using it as an excuse to avoid paying alimony. How to ethically mock people who use their disabilities as an excuse to be terrible is an evergreen question I guess.
I feel like making a joke about the worm controlling him or something isn't. But connecting the brain worm to brain damage to his terrible ideas is. "Brain damage make man bad" is IMO ableist against people with brain damage. "Worm make man bad" is funny.
Mocking him, specifically, for having a brain worm is probably, maybe, ableist.
Mocking the worm itself, the fact it chose that target (ie: RFK's brain, don't mock the brain mock the worm for choosing it), or the fact it died in there seem, to me, to be valid targets
