Lukewarm take: Hemisphere v Hemisphere rugby chat is both incredibly boring and just incorrect. Virtually every non-English/Welsh fan in Europe cheered for Australia & Fiji last week. Half will be cheering for Argentina tonight and a decent number South Africa tomorrow. There is no northern union.

NH SH doesn't matter at all.
Both in URC, 6 nations & internationally there seems to be a lack of punishment levied toward irish teams as opposed to other teams. As for the Australia/Fiji bias, that was apparent last year in France, and they all had an Oirishe accent
Plus, the Northern Hemi teams have only ever won 1 world cup, which is an important distinction... for now.
Except maybe the Woodward Lions because everybody seemed united against that selection
1. My national team
2. Whoever plays beautiful running rugby
3. The underdog, especially small nations that field internationally competitive teams (♥️ u Japan!).
4. Whoever is playing against Ireland, England, or Australia, (order subject to change)
