From watching him play the last few years, Butler isn't as great as people think. Very much off and on; it's like he doesn't think he has to work or try as hard as anyone else.
They’ve been pretty hard core on him being MVP like the race is completely over. I won’t have a major issue if they give it to him, but they completely skip over the fact that Jokic is top 3 in the three major categories and top in the 5 categories. It’s never been done.
I think the problem is that the award is so nebulous. That’s what it means to you but I would venture to say it means something different to each voter.
This is literally the craziest post ever. Without SGA OKC has a net rating -.39. The nuggets without Jokic are -9.39 which is the second lowest in the NBA. OKC without SGA are 1-1 this season. Nuggets without Jokic 0-2. This is the most casual post ever maybe 😂
Two games without them isn’t enough of a sample size to really gain anything from it and while you can get some info from on/off, it can also be pretty misleading.
They're 13-1 in games he's played. He's transformed the team.
That being said, I get non-stop news about it in my Warriors-heavy timeline and groupchats, so don't know what OP is talking about, haha. Maybe it's just sarcasm.
yeah he doesn’t need to shoot well to be an impact maker at all. high floor player. national media definitely aren’t talking about it but again can you blame them? as good of a story as it is in the bay a guy getting his numbers isn’t going to tickle their fancy even with the record.

OKC without SGA doesn’t even make the play-in.
Thunder without SGA have the 4th best net rating in the NBA.
