Burning wood is renewable though, and as long as the burning is done properly (clean burning) and balanced by reforestation, it's also clean...

That said, Germany's claim to being all renewable is bs, as they import "clean" electricity from other countries, which make up for it by coal/gas, so it's like exporting your garbage to other countries and saying you're trash-free.

Burning wood is kinda renewable because recapturing that carbon you burn would take years till a similar size tree grows

Idk. From what I’ve read it’s not good at all and compliance is a huge issue so ‘clean’ isn’t really always clean.
There was a NYT article a few years back about growing deforestation in Romania to feed that industry.
